We had some word from Ica. The Ramos family is safe. There was some damage to the wall surrounding their garden. They sent a few pictures of some of the damage. I thought I would include it so you could see as well. They said supplies are beginning to trickle in, but there is much fighting over the distribution of them, so that can be a bit scary.

Glad to hear your friends are safe. The road picture is amazing. Yikes...we have it pretty good where we live not having to deal with natural disasters that catastrophic.

That makes our potholes look pretty insignificant!
We realized we were standing at the Paracas on a fault line just one month before. What seemed slightly weird then seems even odder now. We are wondering if that has been damaged out along the coast.
