But only for one day and only for me. I had the perfect summer day, sleeping in, going to lunch with friends, napping and reading through an afternoon thunderstorm.
Staff development for summer school is tomorrow, so my rest is short-lived.

Wake up early while the kids sleep late, wander outside to visit the flowers. Then meet friends at the beach. Catch fireflies and roast marshmellows. Okay, now I'm hungry....
I'm a casual lurker :) but thought I'd post! Perfect summer day would be a 3 year old sleeping all night and in until, say, 9am so I can catch up a bit! Then, a light bkfst, reading a book on a float in the pool without having to worry about kids drowning... grilled burgers and kids in bed early so I can have time with hubby all to myself! Hope you are enjoying yours as much as you can!
