I have only 10 more days of work in this school year and only 9 more days when the kids are there. This is my usual yearly countdown. What do you countdown to?
we are currently working on two countdowns. June 12 when Adrienne and kids arrive in Oregon for their move from Kansas to Oregon. Our second when Hillary returns from her second school year in Kazakhstan, June 16. See our blog for the official downcount for Hillary coming home. Since we just found out when the Teradas are returning to Oregon we should make a second count down clock.
Currently my only countdown is for this Wednesday, 5/16/07...Mt. Ranch convention! (Plus I get to see my sis and my boyfriend at the same time! Yipee!)
Hillary will be staying state side for now. I think she is planning on staying in Portland through the summer than maybe on to Seattle!!?? There is a trip to Durango/Silverton in her summer plans I beleive.
I'm with you, Kari, except we have 19 more days with students!!!! We had a bomb threat today, so over half the kids stayed home. That makes the days go a lot faster!!
11 more days! Tomorrow is "Senior Day" and Friday is grad. practice, so pretty much 9 more days of work! This is my first countdown as a teacher! I didn't realize teachers look forward to summer SO MUCH!!

Hey! I was just going to say the same thing! I am also counting down to June 12th and June 16th! Hmm! I wonder why!?! Adrienne
June 16? Is she planning on going back for a third year? Or just planning on staying on this side of the big pond? That is exciting.

I'm counting down the days until our new nephew arrives. I can't wait to see his little face and watch Carson and Brayden with him.
