Tilling and Thawing

This weekend we turned the soil in our vegetable garden. We're looking forward to another season of squash, green beans, tomatos, corn and peas. Hopefully we'll eat more than the bugs.

Today it was 73 degrees in Dallas, and BEAUTIFUL. I'm sure you northerners remember what that was like (back in June). Tomorrow's forecast: 78 degrees.

It was GORGEOUS yesterday...a perfect (maybe a little too warm) day for a run!

It's still a little cold for me. I like it in the 80's at least. Ryan is glad when it warms up a little because my feet are no longer so cold.

mmm fresh veggies! I would love a veggie patch but wow, it would entail sunscreens to keep the sun from burning the plants, a raised contained bed to help keep water from running off, and a lot of watering. Too much work for right now. Happy gardening to you two tho...it's so enjoyable!

IN June we will enjoy our 73 degree weather in CO...while Texans are chewing ice chips and bathing in humidity :) Very cool to see you working in the garden - Ryan you must take after mom. Do you make Kari weed for hours a day?? Hope you grow some great veges...very rewarding! You two are ambitious!
Also, hope you are enjoying your Spanish classes!

Your little garden patch is so cute! We love our garden, fresh salsa is SO much better than store bought! And this year we're trying corn, too. We'll see how it goes! Good luck with yours!
